APCS,MIFV, AFVS, HUMVS

LORD!

APC s are not main battle tanks!

RPGs tend to blow through APCs like a finger through wet toilet paper!

MIFVs are not main battle tanks!

AFVs (armored cars) are not main battle tanks!

HUMVs are most definately not main battle tanks!

i have seen US M-113 ACAVs and ARVN M-113s  blown apart when trying to
act like a tank.

i have watched for years as 3rd world "soldiers" equated wheeled or
tracked APCs with tanks, were  blown up and burned   in combat	 in
color on my TV screens.....

then i watched russians bite the big one on y TV screens in afghanistan and
chechtnya.....

ditto for flyweight tanks that try to be main battle tanks (the sheridan
comes immediately to mind along with that tiny AMX tank and PT-76).

i have one hell of a lot of respect for the old RPG-7 and its multiple
use capability.

i see no reason that this will change short of the developement of a mobile
force field in the future either.
