Salute 98 In on 25th April 1998 Kensington Town Hall, West Kensington, London

Nearest Undergound, High Street Kensington Hot, crowded, sometimes smelly,
noisy & wargaming orientated, but a good

place to pick up the odd bargain or end of line goodies (last year had

loads of Leading Edge stuff(Aliens, etc). A good spread of traders, superb
display games.

I'll be going along - I do every year.
Anyone on the list likely to go? Is GZG attending?

I'll be there on the Maidstone Wargames Society table - we're
putting on a Dark Ages skirmish game this year, so not very relevant to this
list (although anyone who went there or to SELWG last year might remember our
Tatooine game with the scratchbuilt 25mm Jawa sandcrawler).

And there was much rejoicing. Does this mean we'll see the fleet book

released at Salute?

Provided I get the last of the writing done, the typesetting gets finished in
time, and the printers keep their delivery promises, then yes. The last two
are out of my hands, so we'll just have to keep various appendages
crossed......
