Anyone know if models of the Sulaco (in any scale) are available?

Also, what are the chances of the Leading Edge 25mm Aliens mini line being put
back out by someone for our consumption? Only have a few (including the
APC).
I hope the molds are still around....

There was a Galoob micromachine of the Sulaco. Gray plastic, about 2.5 or 3
inches long, has "Sulaco" stenciled on the side in white. It looks a bit
skinnier, but it's about the same length as an ESU Voroshilev cruiser.

You can see it at the following site:
http://www.galoob.com/Aliens/MMAliens02.html

It says it's been discontinued, but places like Target and Toys 'R' Us often
have them laying around. You want AliensTM Collection #2, No. 74848. eBay
might be a possible source of this and more of the old Leading Edge minis.

Hope this helps.

I have absolutely no idea if it's still generally available, but I do know
that there was a Sulaco model. I put one together for a friend a few years
back and IIRC he gave it to Doug (The Beast) for a birthday present.

Good hunting, it wasn't a bad model and it wasn't too bad to put together,
although it wasn't up to the standards of Italiari or Monogram.

Halcyon released one in their rather random line of models form all three

assembled mine yet, but it's a nice looking model...

I though you could still get the APC and dropship from HobbyLink Japan
(http://www.hlj.com/) but I can't find them any more.

Not bad models, I just wish they'd did more in scale with each other
(1/72 dropship, 1/35 APC, etc...)

Oh, sure, you want a 1/35 Sulaco??? ;->=

Seriously, I've always assumed the dropship would work well with the
LEG APC and/or one of the resin psuedo-colonial marine kits. Any
comments, anyone?

I once saw an LEG dropship in the midst of construction. I don't EVEN want to
go there... The APC WOULD fit in it, though.

Knew someone who had two (2) of the LEG Dropship kits. Yes, the APC did fit. I
have one of the APC's and it was a nightmare to fit together. Lots of Squadron
green putty needed. If the dropships were of similar fit I can imagine the
grief and frustration. I'd still like to find some of the figures though. They
were true 25mm (guess I'll just have to do with my Kryomech

warriors) and aside from some clunky bases, the sculpting wasn't bad. The APC
came with a Frost figure (one of the SAW gunners-or is it an LMG?). Does

anyone know what happened to LEGs molds? Any chance of them showing up again?
