Subject: Aliens Action Fleet APC

Greetings all,

I have a request to make, and excuse me if it's a bit mercenary for the list..
<grin>

I'm trying to locate, and purchase, TWO of the Galoob Aliens Action Fleet
APCs. Unfortunately, the one place I had located (on the Net) that sold them
internationally appears not to sell them anymore.

I was hoping some kind, generous person would help me out in my endevour
-
especially if they are in the United States.

If this wonderful person is in the US, then I was hoping to organise a direct
order to Galoob through this great person. If not, I was hoping that they
could do a little search for me of their local area.

I really, really want to add two of these great miniatures to my Stargrunt
forces. I will pay for the miniatures and all postage and shipping costs
accrued by whomever helps me out.

I am looking for honest people, which is why I've come to the Full Thrust
Mailing List - after exhausting my search options on the Net, this is
the first place I thought of because I knew all of you would understand the
search for that perfect miniature to complete your forces. I've found it, but
now I can't get my hands on it.

Anyone who can help, please let me know ASAP.

JS

Er, how many of us out there really want some of these. If I could find them
I'd get four! Seriously it is almost worth an approach to a company direct!?

You can approach Galoob direct, but they only ship to the United States, so if
you have a friend in the US (hey, which I'm trying to find!) make use of
them! :)

I'm in the US and am willing to help. They could be shipped from Galoob to me
and I'd then ship them on to you. How would you like to set this up? I can be
contacted at the email address below. Maybe we could do this in both
directions. I would like to buy some of the GZG miniatures that are not
available in the US.

Enjoy,

Unfortunately it isn't. I approached Galoob on email a while back when I first
saw them and they said while they would love to sell to me, they
can't. The Aliens APC's cannot be sold or re-sold outside America.
Some sort of licencing thing. Kinda sucks. Ah well.

You can order the action fleet items through Jessie Dunne of Lewis Galoob Toys
at 5000 Forbes Blvd, South San Francisco, California 90080.

Are these the Micro Machine versions, as I have seen them at Space Oddysey in
Manchester, and also in a "cheapo" shop in manchester called Images, where I
got
the complete set of 3 packs for £6-00. Images has since closed down(I
bought mine in January, along with the predator sets for the same price), but
if you persist in trying the many "cheapo" shops in the high streets
(Poundstretcher, What Shops? ect) you may find some more hanging around, very
cheap. The also sell the Babylon 5 Ships at a reduced price too.

Nope. These aren't the Micro-Machines ones that come as three tiny
models per pack. These are roughly 25mm scale vehicles that come with a couple
of
figures. They are just the right scale to use as APC's for any 25-30mm
Sci-Fi game you like. That's why there are so many of us outside the
U.S.
who want to get them!

in the States that ofer OS sales. Chasing info now. Let you know if it proves
successful.
