Advanced Guided Missile systems (and prose)

Speaking of fired through the bore ATGMs, this is exactly what the BMP3 uses.
It has a 100mm gun and fires it's ATGMs through the bore.

I think John mentioned Sharpe. Just picked up the soundtrack (had to order it
from England). Excellent! Which puts me in a mood for prose...

Here's forty credits on the drum, to any spacer that'll come. Making transit

Missle warhead lethality has nothing to do with the diameter of the missle.

A HEAT warhead's penetration does limit its maximum penetration (I think up to
10-15 times its caliber).  In fact, Russian army is not very happy with
the
100mm/AT-10 combination for precisely this reason--the AT-10 is too weak
an ATGM to take on modern MBTs.
