[ADMIN]Recent traffic

I'm generally fairly happy to let the list wander as it may as long as the
topic is vaguely relevant and/or interesting but of late things have
been getting a little out of hand. General discussions about old games is one
thing, but the introductions thread made a lot of traffic and was, to be
honest, just noise.

I wouldn't normally shout about it, but I've had a significant number of unsub
messages sent to the list server in the last 48 hours. That signifies to me
that there is a certain amount of dissatisfaction with the content of
the list even if people aren't inclined to speak out - in general people
here seem to be a polite bunch.

SO, If you don't all mind TOO much, could we get it a bit more on-topic?
I don't mind people discussing old games per se, but sooner (rather than
later) those parties should really take it to private email..
