ACID RESISTANT ARMOR

KARL, being  just a plain joe, the idea of acid  resistant/proof  body
armor that is   resistant/proof against  ballistic, explosive
fragmentation, and DEW weapons is an interesting concept.

POWERED ARMOR, to me, would be the best solution to defeat or to offer GOOD
protection from all of the above.

also why could not a VERY FAST ACTING ACID and A VERY DEADLY POISON
be combined as an anti-personel weapon?

For human-tech weapons? See our other thread on the Geneva
Conventions/Laws of War - the poison is certainly illegal; the acid
probably is.

WELL, i was not exactly thnking of human GENEVA CONVENTION approved
weaponry in a sci-fi universe.

and of course, friend JOHN and others who have BEEN THERE, DONE THAT (
including yours truly) are more than aware of all of the myriads of
governments, semi  -governments,  para militaries,  guerillas and  etc,
who are not members of this accord, who have indeed never heard of it, would
not follow the rules if they did know of it, and who think that "civilized
warfare" is pure bull shit anyway.

somehow, the idea that alien militaries or civilizations who view the universe
from their own perspectives (made in"gods" image, and etc) giving a damn as to
what the rules of war are and why they should apply to THEM in an interspecies
conflict with HUMANs as a bit of a laugh!

of course, even aliens might know of and respect the law of combat known as
"PAY BACK IS A BITCH!", and realize just how dark ruthless and bloody this
method of war is....

especially in an interspcies conflict.
