It was the typical ECC Convention...

Lives were lost Ships destroyed Souls traded for WMD Appearance of an Elder
God Marriage proposals Appearance of a Saint The new guy comment "You guys are
so insane" (a rough paraphrase) No sleep, too many sheep The customary beating
of TomB into the ground (Lunch Money and a drive by sheeping)

Another very successful weekend!

Thanks to everyone for the descriptions! I find myself strangely depressed AND
elated, one for envy, the other for sharing the joy vicariously. I can hardly
wait for Jon's report.

While I've always admired the strange British humor in many game reports I've
seen, I can hardly wait for Jon's reaction to Con Queso et al!

Yes, both. Since ECC I, Tom and I have been extra diligent to out wit, out
race, and fight the other.

He was the person who put a bounty on my head, paid to any player who took me
out. That was the year, I was standing
at Ground Zero from the Predator self-destruct weapon one
or two floors above.

I neglected to mention Roger Livingston East's fate. He attempted to herd the
Fair Maiden Amelia Sheep but was not sufficiently persuasive, so she squealed
"Unhand me, you *brute*!" (thanks to Jon D, voice talent

for Amelia) and scampered off. All the other sheep in the area converged on
Roger, who broke. He fled through the village, pursued by half a dozen angry
sheep. Then he ran into the middle of another group of sheep, apparently
intending to lose himself in the crowd. It didn't work. He was flocked (sheep
equivalent of "mobbed"), with about ten sheep jumping up and down on him.

JonT's reaction to FMASheep was "That was the silliest game I've been in

for...(long pause)... quite a while."

Why do I have this vision of a fellow based, tarred, and sawdusted?

I think we better drop this before someone gets upset, and uses harsh language
like 'flock ewe...'

I don't see how anyone could get upset over an event that never happened.

Oh, and I now understand why the event last year didn't happen. I have
understanding in the way that H.P. Lovecraft's protagonists gained
understanding just before being fed as a snack to an elder god.

I was going to say 'before someone gets wooly...', but sheared away from that.

Hey, I figure I can pun away, as retribution must be busy elsewhere. I'M not
the one that used the 'Narn Baa Squad' reference.

As the person who definitely didn't oversee Roger's sheep immolation, I would
like to think (or is it not think?) that Roger was happy at the end as the
long pork filling to what may have been the world's (or that world's, at
least) largest lamb roast. Now all we needed as an orbital mint jelly strike
after the nuke went off... (or didn't)
