Turnsignals on a Land Raider is a very funny, very professionally done cartoon
satire of Games Workshop's Warhammer 40K. The strip focuses on a newly
recruited group of plastic figures from "The Emperor's Pointy Sticks" chapter
of Space Marines. There currently are 57 strips, with more promised several
times a week

Thanks, Don!
It's been quite awhile since I looked at the strips; I think there were only
24 or so at that time.
Please note, it's more a satire of GW players than the game or company. At
least, as far as I got; can hardly wait to dive in again.
While familiarity with GW games and customs are useful, even a passing
knowledge will go far, and somethings mentioned are universal for gamers. You
don't have to be a fanboy to enjoy.
Do give a look if you haven't since the last time it was mentioned on list.

Oh it satires the rules, the models, the games, the players. The Standin Mk V
tank was great.
Thanks, Don!

*That's how I see it also, it's a spoof on the gamers more than anything else.
I got a few laughs out of it, some of the topics were quite games
universal.....)

The grand ballroom on the standin Mk V tank!........)

I hope they've got lawyers...GW have a tendency to shut down sites like this,
funny as they often are.
According to the site, he just asked GW's permission to keep the strip going.
So it's likely to be shut down soon. :-)

Yes, the earlier message seemed to indicate that it was about the strip
itself. He changed it later. Even so, I think he is protected. But GW might
try to strong arm him into removing their trademarked "Land Raider" and it
simply depends on how willing he is to fight them if they do so.
I guess the real question is why he asked GW about the legality of his
actions, since they will give the response that best protects them rather than
what is legally correct. He should have just consulted a lawyer. Hmm, maybe I
will email him that thought.

I dunno; you've got the love the next one...
However, you might also warn him about the Disney lawyers; only slightly
less feared than M$'s torts squad. ;->=
