Use an old, tiny (detail) brush and clip the bristles so that they begin to
get a bit stiff due to their shortened length. Water down your
paints _slightly_ more than usual and prepare the brush with paint as if
you're getting ready to drybrush. Instead of sweeping the bristles over the
details, stab them straight onto the model where you want to apply the color
into the camo pattern. Repeat with different colors to get your pattern.
Patience is important as you want to build up the color gradually, just like
drybrushing, except in a spot instead of on the raised areas. Make sure than
when you're stabbing that you're not making the bristles splay out all over
the model. If you can't transfer paint without doing that, either use wetter
paint or stiffer bristles.
