I'm thinking about getting some 6mm buildings but I haven't seen any that
quite suit me (for the manufacturers on the list, this may be because I just
haven't seen the right photos). I'm looking for futuristic buildings, but
something which is not inherently urban. The Microtac building look to me like
they belong in city blocks, and
I want something which won't be out of place on a colony world. I
emphatically am not looking for something gothic.
In addition, in DS2, p25, there's a truncated pyramid/arcology sort
of thing, which looks nice and would do if I knew where to find The Drum.
Try Hovels North Africa Range. Or build something out of Lego. Or cast what
you built from Lego!

I'd suggest Z scale railroad models. Pricey, but you can get an interesting
assortment of stuff. Your other alternative is to build some
of your own. You can get surprisingly good results from stuff around the
house.

For 6 mm Lego bricks are rather on the large side. A single full-height
8-pip Lego brick is big enough for a house.
Mayhem miniatures made some nice SF buildings, including some "alien houses".
But I understand they are out of business.
Another idea is to use conventional modern-era houses and put them under
a
clear plastic hemisphere cupola. Two-part plastic spheres should b
eavailable from crafts shops.
