They have models in 15mm too, so does anyone know if the 15mm "Combat Aliens"
from Freikorp are similar to the 25mm ones or not?

They'd fit perfectly into my plans for a "bug hunt" scenario with
pizza-box
ship plans.

Whoops, never mind. From website that was the focus of the original thread I
answered my own question:

"The FreiKorp Aliens are big 15mm, and work equally well as opponents for 25mm
troops."

Thanks to everyone who WOULD had answered! *grin*

No problem - I take it you saw the photo on the new Gallery page of GZG
25mm & 15mm figures posing with a FreiKorp bug?

I haven't watched any of the Aliens movies in a while, but I recall them as
smaller than humans, while in 15mm the FreiKorp critters are a fair bit taller
than a human. So they might work better as 25mm targets!

Something of a sliding scale, particularly by the third, but they tended to be
taller than humans. However, they often had really bad posture, and when
slinking might be seen as shorter.

In the first "Alien" movie, the alien was huge compared to humans...

cousins in larger hives.

When a book has bothered to mention the Aliens' heights at all, 8 feet is the
height usually mentioned.

Yup, sure did.

They're certainly big enough for dual use, though at 8 feet, I don't think
they're out of scale. Thanks.

Tim,

I have a bunch of the 15mm "Combat Aliens" they run about the same height as a
man (in 15mm)..
